Green Bee KC is the home of premier, quality, 100% cotton, pre-shrunk, screen printed towels from the heartland. Rena Krouse is not only Green Bee KC’s owner but she is the director of design at this amazing Kansas City Company. Rena started her maker journey selling vintage home goods and accessories. But she quickly realized that she needed a more creative outlet that selling vintage could afford her. That’s when she was stung by the creative bee! Since her first line of cotton Pyrex inspired tea towels, Rena knew that she belonged with the maker community of Kansas City. Her creativity flourished and the company’s designs quickly expanded. Screen printing became Rena’s passion and as the company grew the focus has became clear. Green Bee strives to create products that are not only beautiful and fun but that are also functional and durable. The company now employs three talented and dedicated team members.
